Vanilla sugar
Post Body

Hi! I saw some discussion the other day about making vanilla sugar and I just so happened to get a few free vanilla beans from a friend. Can I just stick the moist whole vanilla bean in my sugar jar? Or do I need to remove the inside and use it for something and then dry the skin before sticking in the sugar jar? Or do I include the inside of the bean in the sugar too? Or do I have to dry the bean and then blend with the sugar? Thanks for any advice!
