Viability of adding hazelnut butter to cookie dough

Post Body

I have a recipe for a regular chocolate cookie dough. Nothing fancy, just flour, cocoa, butter, egg, white brown sugar, vanilla, I got it from the Preppy Kitchen Youtube channel (although added some more flour or else the cookies spread a lot and are a bit greasy).

I want to try adding some hazelnut butter to give it a nutty taste.

Do I need to do anything to ensure the cookies come out right? Lower the amount of regular butter, add a bit more flour/cocoa, etc?

Or does adding hazelnut butter make the cookie taste bad, like burnt nuts or something?
