I meant to make brown butter chocolate chips but all two cups of chocolate chip melted into the dough—should I have let the butter cool first, or should I have added the flour and rest to cool before adding the chocolate chip? I also didn’t have baking soda, so I added 3 times the amount of baking powder. My cookies turned out flat. How could I have fixed this?
