Baking while distracted… why did my favorite cookie recipe turn out 2x the size and crunchy?

This is the recipe I use: https://lifestyleofafoodie.com/valentines-day-oreo-mms-cookies/

I was baking while distracted so I might have not measured everything exact. Usually these cookies stay the shape I scoop them in, likely because of the cornstarch in the recipe… but this time they’re wide, flat, very crunchy, dark, and taste a little too sweet and buttery. Not enough flour maybe?
