I wanted to try a new york style cookies a thick, soft, chewy one.. I need recommendations on how to improve my recipe. I tried multiple recipes but this one was the best one it wasn’t that sweet, not too dry, soft, has a crunch on the outside.
QUESTIONS Should I add more flour or lessen? Should I remove baking powder/soda or lessen? Should I add extra yolk or butter? Should I add more vanilla? Should I chill my cookies and bake them right away or thaw them after chilling?
Since pandemic occured, slowly started baking cookies, cupcakes, cheesecakes although it was only a year. Then this year I started baking again and for business as well. Im still entering the world of baking. Im glad to hear feedbacks and improvements.
