Can I chill cookie dough with potato chips in it?

I love Baking with Babish’s everything cookie recipe base and want to add butterscotch chips, chocolate chips, chopped chocolate, and thinking about adding potato chips. I know it’s important to the process to chill the dough overnight and I don’t want to skip that step, but I feel like the potato chips will get super soggy.
Should I just try to work quickly with cold ingredients to prevent overspreading, or can I go ahead and chill without sacrificing the crispness from the potato chips?
