So I’ve been having a craving for oatmeal and beer. I tasted some oatmeal a few weeks ago that sat in a thermos all day and had a slight beer taste to it, almost like beer bread (which has been a big favorite of mine since childhood), and it was delicious! I’ve wanted to recreate this but in a cookie. So essentially an oatmeal beer cookie. Everyone I’ve told thinks it sounds gross but I plan to try making it on Friday. There’s no recipe online for it. I was just going to use a standard oatmeal cookie recipe and add beer into it. Does anyone else think it could be good? Also any tips on trying to make it? When to add beer or how much etc?
