I came across a tiktok where this girl tried a bunch of chocolate chip cookies in NYC to determine which one was the best, and I noticed that almost all of them had this super crispy, golden, almost caramelized texture around the entire exterior of the cookie.
Every time I’ve tried to bake chocolate chip cookies, only the edges get crispy and the top and middle of the cookies stay soft. Any tips on how to expand that crispy edge texture to the entire exterior of the cookie while still maintaining a chewy interior?
