Can vacuum sealing cookies make them dry or keep them soft and chewy?

Post Body

I'll be shipping out my soft and chewy cookies and I'm trying to decide if I should vacuum seal them to keep them soft. Most of my soft cookies would dry out and be crumbly in 4-5 days (stored in resealable plastic packaging, but not air tight) and I would like to keep them moist for at least 10 days. A friend suggested vacuum sealing, but wouldn't it suck the moisture out of my cookies and make them more dry?
