Peeps vs Rice Krispie treats?

Hello! I made Rice Krispie treats for a bake sale tomorrow. I made them according to the standard recipe on the box. I want to stick peeps on top of each piece. Any ideas for how to do this? I had intended to stick them on when the marshmallows were still goopy but my timing was off. Should I make some sort of frosting? Use heat? Thank you!
