What can I add to my bread to keep it nice and soft for longer than just 1 day?

So I’ve made conchas(Mexican sweet bread) and they come out really soft and fluffy. But once they cool down overnight, the next morning they’re a little tougher, and 2 days later, it’s texture is stale already. What can I add to prevent this and increase its softness duration. Any dough enhancers, substance, or even chemical?
