Okay so I have not been diagnosed with autism. But I have one incredibly specific phobia that might indicate that I am.
I hate chili peppers. I hate the sight of them, the smell, the shape. But specifically in whole pepper and chopped form. If it's chili flakes/powder/sauce (hot sauce) or ground chilies, I'm still okay with it. I also like spicy food, but again, if I find whole/chopped chili peppers in my food, I would not touch the food.
This hatred/phobia runs so SO deep in me that I physically feel disgust every time I look at them and I can't even touch them or go near them. It gives me the bad kind of chills.
Could this be considered an autistic trait in any way? or is it more like phobia?
Thank you in advance.
