Hey everyone so I got a star adventurer 2i earlier this year to do some milkey way shots and unfortunately I've been unable to balance it to save my life. I have tried the regular mount with the counterweight and no go, then I tried to ball head mount and still the camera wants to swing. I'm looking for any advice from other as to how to fix this. I am shooting with a 5d mkIV with a 50mm sigma art lens.
It’s camera heavy right? You may need to shift the Dec plate down in the mount as well. Your ball head is causing the weight to go higher on the setup as well.
