Any insights on why i struggle with intimacy in general?

I often find myself struggle a little with intimacy. Be it with friends and family. Never been in a serious relationship so i dont know how i will be in one but probably will still struggle with it. I dont seek to be in one maybe cause i tend to have a negative view on relationships. I often find myself uncomfortable when sb shows a teeny bit romantic interest in me. I dont enjoy dating randoms either.
