Hello to the Asexual Community here on reddit, so I have this friend who may be asexual and I am a lesbian kinda open about sexual stuff type of person (and I am expressive as opposed to her kind of reserved personality) so this is kind of new to me, how can I kind of relate to my friend or what do you wish someone would say to you when you first came out because I heard that her family was saying that she wasn't valid and that she'll find a man someday and that is so wrong. How can I say congrats on coming out without it sounding weird kind of way? I'm sorry I'm new to all this as most of my friends came out to me as gay, bi or pan but this is a first for me for a friend to come out as asexual. What can I say to make her feel loved asides from saying the words I love you or congrats or you're valid?
