I find it a very fascinating subject, the way technology and specifically media technologies shape and interact with our culture. I finished "Amusing Ourselves to Death" and was really sad it was written in the 90s, because of the seismic shifts the internet has had. I currently working on "Technopoly". I would like to find other authors that have explored this topic, preferably in a more "current" stage.
Sorry if this isnt quite anthropology, it didnt seem like it fit in history subs and I couldnt think of anywhere else.
