There was an interesting question on /r/answers asking "Why is "rape" not the dominant way of procreation in the animal kingdom?" and some of the answers gave specific animals' examples. Is the answer about "social group" sufficient for humans or is it likely that there are stronger factors?

I thought this was an interesting question and answers were interesting as well and raised several more questions for me.
