Hi y’all,
I’m a first gen immigrant/grad student, so I don’t have many people I can comfortably ask about this. I was given advice to email professors to ask if they’re taking on students for PhD programs since many faculty pages don’t display that info, but I wanted to see if I could get some advice on how to write that first email? I have some professors in mind already but I’m just nervous that I’ll be too direct about it haha. Thank you in advance :’)
