Technically speaking there is nothing illegal about visiting escort sites or about talking to escorts (plausible deniability) but the second you imply or even assume that someone is selling or buying sex it's a federal crime.
States in which talking to escorts is legal include: Uk, Germany, Austria, Canada, Turkey, Poland, Spain, Italy, Romania and most of europe excluding nordic countries, Ireland and France
