Ghosted after I sent a deposit
Post Body

I am still a pretty new client, I have been lurking here for a bit and feel like I have learned a lot about how to be a good client.

That said, I could used the prospective of providers. A provider listed my city on her tour. I remain convinced that she is legitimate- tryst ad (among other sites), long standing Twitter presence, reviews that go back several years, and a professional website. I reached out with plenty of time (I first messaged her June 13 when I first noticed my city listed for her tour) and sent the screening information her site requested. I didn’t hear back so after two days I sent a short follow up, still nothing for over a week. I was fine if she didn’t want to see me, her ad says 35 , and I’m 35 so I am on the young edge of her clientele, and I have no problem if she didn’t want to see me for any reason. Last Saturday she got back to me, we set a time (Monday at 7) and I sent the deposit as she outlined. After that I didn’t hear back from her. Yesterday with our appointment time approaching, I sent an email at 5 pm to make sure everything was still on. Radio silence, as I sent two more emails and 2 texts between 6:30 and 7:15. It’s almost a day later and I still haven’t heard anything.

I know life happens, but the radio silence has me feeling scammed which in turn makes me feel angry. I am disappointed that our appointment didn’t happen, but I want to make sure I didn’t/don’t violate any norms. So I am posting here to make sure, 1. I haven’t done anything wrong, and 2. ask what if anything I should say if I choose to send one last message.
