Do people actually want house prices to come down? People say they do but 63% of Australians own a home. Many have super high mortgages. People also arenโ€™t voting for political parties advocating more for affordable and social housing either, so is it just a lie? Arenโ€™t we all self-interested?

Yes. House prices Need to come down. Imagine bring born in 2024 into an economy where you'll need 5 or 6 million dollars to own a run down crap shack.... we need to do better. 63% of houses being owned Does Not mean 63% of people own. ๐Ÿ™„
