What’s the job outlook for mechatronic engineering grads in Australia?

Post Body

Hi, I’m studying mechatronic engineering currently - I’m wondering if it’s hard to get a job out of uni? Like is it very saturated and competitive like computer science or is it much more attainable to get an entry level job?

I know there are not many actual mechatronic jobs out there but I’m thinking of using my degree to apply for electrical or mechanical engineering roles if possible. Otherwise my back up is to work in a bank lol.
