Yesterday I purchased a Playstation 5 on special for $674 from bigw online to be picked up from Town hall Sydney (no other stores had them in stock or I could have got it delivered). I didnt receive a notification saying it was ready for pick up or an update email until this morning. The email stated that they are unable to supply the items in my order and i should receive a refund within a few working days.
Today the playstation 5 is no longer on special and is priced at $800 with availability showing at my local bigw, the same bigw i ordered from and delivery...
My question is - if i contact bigw support will they honour the price i originally purchased it for and be able to order it from my local bigw or for it be delivered? Its very frustrating because if my order had of been cancelled yesterday i could have re ordered it on the same day at the lower price. I believe they're at fault for showing wrong stock levels and being so slow to update me via email.
If anyone has had a similar experience or can give me some answers that would be appreciated, thanks.
