Here in Switzerland we have relatively old carnival traditions that differ from region to region and even from town to town. Many of those carnivals can be traced back to the early middle ages in some form and have constantly evolved since then.
The two biggest carnivals in Switzerland are the one in Luzern and the one in Basel. Now that carnival season has come and gone, the Monstercorso and the Morgestraich are done for this year, I was wondering if you have carnival traditions in the US, where they come from and what carnival looks like across the pond.
