How long should it take to read one research paper/article (10-12 pages long)?

Post Body

Hi! I am an undergraduate getting started with my first ever REU and currently in the literature review stage. I found out that it takes me around 2-3 hours to get through one research article. Since my working hours are 8 hours per day (due to certain personal reasons I can't devote more than that unfortunately) I get through only 3 or 4 articles per day. I feel this is too less. Am I taking too long to read? What are some ways to be more efficient during literature reviews?
