I hope this isn't against the rules but I would really really appreciate some advice from the academics in electrical and electronics engineering as I am to the point of pulling my hair out. I have an offer from Texas Instruments(TI) but I am very very unsure if this internship would look good on my CV for a grad school application for universities in US,UK or Canada. I have NO research experience, and I am from a small college in India so opportunities are pretty much limited. The summer of 2021 is the ONLY time I will be able to get some research experience, at some of the top universities in the country. But if I don't go to TI, I will end up getting blacklisted from applying there for a job next year as that's my college's placement cell's policy. With the whole job market crash, I don't know if it's a wise decision to get blacklisted from them. Although I am determined to go to grad school, it wouldn't hurt to have a job to fall back on just in case. As a future supervisor/PI which one would hold weightage in your eyes on an applicant's CV: an university internship or a texas instruments internship? Please help me out! (Also please don't ask me to go to r/gradadmissions, I have tried twice but didn't receive much response and got downvoted)
