/r/AskAcademia is seeking new moderators, both to assist with keeping the mod queue under control and to help in rolling out community-driven changes to the subreddit in the near future. We have some good ideas to improve the sub, but need more manpower to make them reality.
We're looking for people with both the time and patience for the role. We understand that academic careers naturally lead to ebbs and flows in availability, but we're really looking for those who will genuinely be active in the role in the long and short term.
If you're interested in applying to become a moderator, we've prepared an application form, which can be found here. We'll close for applications on Wednesday 31st at midnight GMT (approx. 14 days from the creation of this post), and are likely initially looking for two new moderators.
Good luck!
