I have not been to college and as a result have not had to do any serious research. I'm an event coordinator for concerts and conventions, I've always had a knack for it. I have many things I wish to improve, but apart from trial and error in future events I need to do some serious reading to improve what I need to.
I have been searching online for the past 6 hours for event related and social psychology papers(crowd flow/attention focus/perception of surroundings). I've found one useful paper. I feel so out of my depth. I've read what feels like thousands of titles and hundreds of abstracts. I don't even know if I'm looking on the correct websites.
What do you do? What are your research strategies?
