Hey everyone,
I'm an EE grad with 16.4 T MRI research experience. I've been offered an IT job with slightly above average compensation but also got into an MSc in Microsystems Engineering with a biomedical focus. I'd be joining a radiology research team at medical center of Freiburg as a researcher while doing my MSc.
I'm torn between the job and the MSc. Is microsystems engineering a good career path? How can it lead to interesting roles?
I'm passionate about AI medical imaging. Would pursuing a PhD in medical imaging tech possible considering my microsystems MSc ?
Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
