So it seems like there's three categories when pursuing a field or degree. There are those who pursue a field they're absolutely passionate about and love doing even at the cost of pay or tighter living standards, but do it willingly because its what they love. There's those who pursue a field with the sole intention of income and making the best living they can. Then you have those who stay in their field of interest but are realistic about which pathways are better from an income perspective than others and try to tow that line. What is your perspective? (Listing under humanites but can apply to any field)
