Hey everyone,

Hoping to get some advice on a frustrating situation. Back in September 2023, I submitted a manuscript to Biotechnic & Histochemistry on immuno/histochemistry methods for kidney treatment evaluation. It's been a whopping nine months, and the journal's still struggling to find reviewers.

My research isn't exactly rocket science, folks. We're talking well-established methods applied to a common research area. I'm baffled as to why it's so hard to find qualified reviewers. Has anyone else had similar experiences with this journal or in this field? Is this kind of delay the norm for manuscript review?

I'm starting to worry that my research is getting stuck in limbo for no good reason. Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated!
