Hello all!

Quick question:

How many units should I take this upcoming Fall semester? I am enrolled in 15, but these classes I am taking are online AND are divided into two different sessions. Each session is 7 weeks plus one week for finals, so these online classes are 8 weeks each.

I plan on enrolling at Cal State Long Beach for 4-11 ADDITIONAL units.

The program I am applying for requires a minimum 3.0 in the last 60 units, which means I will need to take as many classes as I can to get close to the 60 unit mark AND get good grades in all my classes.

Right now, I have completed 28 units (and I am taking a summer class that starts in July, 3 units) and have a 3.1 overall in those 28 units.

I expect to take this Fall semester anywhere from 19-26 units, where I would take my online classes and in-person classes as well. This would put me between 50-57 units in total by the end of Fall.

What are your recommendations as to how many units I should enroll in?

I understand that this seems like a lot of work, but I think it may be manageable because of the online/in-person class combination.

Let me know what your thoughts are!!
