Writing Book Reviews: Is a book written three years ago too "old"?
Post Body

So I want to submit a review of a book whose themes and message I believe are extremely pertinent to ongoing policy discussions in my country (I work in education) but the book was written in late 2021.

I plan to submit to either my national disciplinary association or a local public policy journal - would there be any issues with using a relatively non-recent book, or should I try looking for more recent books with similar themes and write a broader synthetic review so that the article is likely to get accepted?
