Post Body

I wasn’t able to find any statistics on this, and it seems like the information isn’t readily available. Does anyone know the likelihood of tenure being granted to assistant professors at state schools, even just from your own experience? Is it less competitive than very prestigious universities? Do most assistant professors generally get it if they do good work?
