Research fellowship applications specify a "CV" rather than a "resume." When I was applying to corporate jobs, I was told to use Word for my resume to comply with applicant tracking systems.
I know its traditional to use latex for an academic CV, but im worried about missing this first ācomputer roundā and never having my application read by a human. Do these kinds of jobs even use computer tracking? Is this something I should be worried about?
UPDATE: To clarify, I donāt intend to submit a tex file, but a PDF version. The problem these PDFs are not usually ATS-friendly.
