Hey :) I’m a 25 year old veterinary student, and I have a BSc in biology. I’m graduating from vet school in 2026, but during my studies I discovered that I don’t want to be a vet and that I’m more interested in human’s healthcare. So I’m considering research 🔬. So I have two questions: - do you think I have a chance in the world of human medicine research as a vet? As mentioned I’m a holder of BSc in biology, and after all veterinary medicine is medicine so it’s not so far off. - in order to accomplish that, I’m considering doing a PhD, I’m interested in the field of microbiology/biotechnology/genetics (gene therapy). I know I still have 2 year till I graduate, but I want to start looking early, how do I approach this? Any advices?
