Hello,
I currently reside in USA and work in cybersecurity. I have a different geopolitical view than most Americans, and due to a variety of issues, am considering immigrating to Russia. I would travel there first and ensure, firsthand, that the culture is a good fit. Assuming all factors are accounted for, such as cultural fit, fluent russian language speaking, etc... Would I find it hard to secure a job? I am very good at my job, bit I fear that people would be skeptical of an American working in cybersecurity for a Russian company. However, my wife and I are intrigued by the idea of potentially moving to Russia and raising our daughter. We like the culture of Russia better and find that it may be better for our child.
Anyways, is there anything I should know, and do you believe I would have a hard time securing a job? Even if I could land a job, is the pay decent in Russia for that category of job?
Thank you for your time.
