Post Body

As a child I always grew up thinking Tigers lived in Africa, I always had a big interest in learning about nature and geography and I learned when I was around 12 that there are actually Tigers in Russia and China. Obviously with other wildlife human expansion into their territory, poaching and hunting the population has declined alot since the 1800s, it is estimated today there are around 400 left in the wild and it is in danger of extinction. I read that the Russian government gave the Tigers full protection from these issues.

I wanted to ask if you as a native living in Russia can see the population being saved? Are Tigers featured in any Russian mythology?
