Which products do you use to wash your hair? Is conditioner regularly used?

I asked my boyfriend to buy hair conditioner, and he said he doesn't know what that is and he can't find it at the store. He said he has never used it. Even my dad who's bald knows what conditioner is.

I'm kind of in disbelief right now. In the Philippines, we wash our hair with shampoo everyday then we use conditioner after washing off the shampoo. So him telling me that there's no conditioner at a big store is kind of like him telling me they don't have shampoo or body soap.

Is my boyfriend is just weird?
