Not sure if this question should go here or on a culinary subreddit. I have family in former Warsaw Pact countries and I remember I'd eat syrniki a lot as a kid. Recently I have been having vision issues, while I can still cook its a lot easier mentally if I can just throw something in the oven and let it cook rather than constantly having to watch for burning.
I know you can cook syrniki in a pan with butter, but can you bake them? If I put the batter into a 24cm square baking pan, am I basically just making a cheesecake? All the recipes I see online suggest to pan cook them.. but I would like to make more than three at a time. i also have a bad habit of eating as I cook.
