Hello, asking this question for a project Iโm doing for a Highschool. I am currently researching Literature Education, and am planning to use the information I gained from this question to compare and contrast it with the Literature Education system in South Korea. I would like to ask the following questions.
1. While learning German, French, and other Foreign languages, do Russian schools teach the students Analysis made on Literature made in said Foreign nation? Or does it focus on paragraphs of short information and general grammar/vocabulary.
The following are based on the assumption that Russian Education teaches Foreign Literature
2. When schools teach Foreign Literature, what kind of literature do they teach? Novels? Poems?
3. Where is the Focus set when studying Foreign literature? Learning phrases and grammar, or understanding the mindset/culture of the nation?
4. Does learning Foreign Literature help the student in further understanding of the language?
Sorry if itโs hard to understand what Iโm trying to ask, English is my Second language. Leave a comment if you want me to elaborate on what Iโm asking.
