I'm a 25-year-old guy hailing from Bangladesh. In 2020, I decided to pursue my passion in IT but eventually dropped out of my CS course. Fast forward to today, I'm grinding away at a software company in Dhaka. I am a pretty liberal, open-minded, and agnostic man. Maybe because of my personality, I always found being in Bangladesh difficult and wanted to go abroad for a better life.
Dreams of living abroad, particularly in an English-speaking country like the USA or Canada, used to fuel my aspirations. However, due to visa constraints, financial limitations, study gaps, and the chaotic political landscape coupled with what I see as the absurdities of woke culture, those dreams have hit a roadblock.
Some wise souls suggested Russia as a potential destination for my academic pursuits. Don State Technical University caught my eye with its affordable tuition fees and seemingly straightforward application process.
So, here's the plan: take a language course followed by a bachelor's program in Rostov. But here's the catch - I also need to work to cover living expenses. Can I find opportunities in IT there, or should I explore other avenues?
Now, onto the nitty-gritty: What's the daily grind like in Russia for a 25-year-old Bangladeshi hustling to make ends meet? What challenges will I face, and what perks might I enjoy?
In summary, I'm seeking insights into the life of a working student like myself who is looking for a life in Russia. What should I expect, and what advice or suggestions can you offer?
