I got myself a Tinkoff card a couple of months ago when I was in Russia, however Tinkoff has now notifed me that I need to provide evidence that I am still in Russia or they will terminate the card (although they can't say when this will happen exactly). They told me that when I'm in Russia again I will just need to apply for another Tinkoff card. Are there any options for a foreigner to keep an active Russian bank card even when outside of Russia? I was under the impression that this card was valid for many years!
