Battery and alternator issues
Post Body

The other day my battery light came on and shortly after my car shuddered and all dash lights came on then the car died. Towed it to the nearest shop, a Firestone. After doing a diagnostic for non start they determined that the issue was the alternator. They replaced the alternator and battery, both brand new. When I came to pick up the car it drove for about 5 minutes before the battery light came back on and I had it tested at the local AutoZone. They said the alternator wasn't charging the battery and when I brought it back to Firestone they determined the new alternator to be defective and replaced it a second time. I picked it up again today and the same issue, drove about 2 miles and battery light came back on. Is this something to be concerned about? Will it turn itself off if I drive long enough? I was worried it would die on me again so I brought it the few miles back to Firestone to leave overnight.
