My vehicle is a 2009 2.5L VW Rabbit. For about a month I’ve had an issue where my car will not turn off when I shut off the ignition. I’ve had to stall it to shut down the motor and then unhook the battery because my auxiliaries are staying on and draining the battery even after the motor is shut down. Occasionally my vehicle will shut down properly but then when I leave it for the night, the auxiliaries will kick on and my battery will be stone dead in the morning. I have already changed the ignition cylinder and switch which didn’t fix anything and my next guess is a circuit board which sits on the underside of the steering column. Anyone have any experience with this?
