Does this sound like a bad ignition switch? 2004 Durango 5.7 | Stays running with key removed
Post Body

Any mechanics that work with dodge or might be able to help with this issue?

2004 Dodge Durango 5.7 hemi.

Turn the key to on engine will start like normal. Go to shut it off and sometimes it won’t shut off at all even with key in off position and other times it will shut off but be delayed a minute or so after key is removed engine will very slowly shut down. When you turn key halfway on to accessory trucks radio and stuff will come on like normal but Speedo is blacked out with no lighting.

When you shut the truck off and remove key I notice under the hood you hear a relay clicking like crazy and possibly the starter clicking as well. Sometimes it will do this for 30 seconds or so and then stop and other times it will keep doing it until the battery dies on vehicle.
