Is it normal for coolant level to drop a little bit during the cold weather months?

I have a 2002 Mercury Sable GS. I live in Chicago where it’s currently cold in the 30s and 40s. But is it normal for the coolant level to drop a little bit when it’s cold outside? When I check the coolant tank in the morning, this is what it looks like. And then when the engine gets hot, it goes right to the line or a little past the line.
