Rack and Pinion, What do you think of using a remanufactured part? 2016 Lexus NX 200T
Post Body

Hi All! I have a 2016 Lexus NX 200T with a bent inner tie rod. For this vehicle, that is part of the rack and pinion. So it looks like the whole rack and pinion needs to be replaced?

For just the rack and pinion...

Dealer says $750.

Online OEM for $560: https://parts.lexusofmobile.com/p/Lexus__NX-200t/Rack-and-Pinion/73196768/4551042171.html

Remanufactured from RockAuto for $320 (shipped): https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=10613960&cc=3342440&pt=7388&jsn=11066

This is a car with a salvage title, so keeping costs down is a priority.

Would you trust a remanufactured part or go with OEM?
