My 2012 Odyssey Exl will sputter with the ac engaged. It is an intermittent sputter. For example: sitting at a stop light, the sputter happened 8ish times. It was not consistent or to a beat.
The pressure is around 48psi. I changed the cabin air filter when first noticed.
My thought was the ac clutch. Turning off the ac, the sputter leaves. This leds me to believe it is the clutch turning off and on, dragging on the engine.
I have felt it while driving, but not at higher rpms. Probably because all the power is less disruptive.
Should i remove some pressure? Should i inspect relays? Should i replace clutch?
It does not seem to do this in park with the engine cold. No check engine light. The air blows cold, except at stop light, then it is less cold.
