So, bit of a dumb question. Do I connect power to 1 or 2?

So, long story short - removed the engine and transmission months ago from my 370z - and finally reinstalled it.
Just forgot where the power goes to the alternator and the starter motor.
Both have clips like this, and I suspect it is to the clip like seen in figure 1.
Any advice is welcome
